You’re here because you care about doing leadership right. You want to have a positive impact in this world and you know that your role as a leader is a big opportunity to do that. We’re here because we care about people and we know that helping leaders like you succeed will ripple out in waves of compassion that make this planet a little better in a lot of ways.
This impact journal is designed to help you get your footing as a people first leader. It’s a lot of reflection paired with some prompts to take action. You’ll start by identifying your values and the ways you live those values through your actions. Your values are a touchstone. When you feel off kilter or are questioning how you handled a situation, your values can anchor you to your inner truth. You can use them to guide you in knowing what to do next.
Next we move into what we call the “5 Pillars of People First Leadership.” These are the principles that guide our work with effective leaders. When we work together, you’ll find us regularly referring to these pillars as we discuss the unique situations you’re working with us to address. They are a guiding philosophy for what we believe about what it takes to be a successful leader.
Once you’ve read through the 5 Pillars, you’ll be invited to reflect on how you relate to each one of them. What have you done in the past? How have you interacted with your team? Then you’ll have the chance to identify action steps you can take to move yourself and your organization forward in relation to each Pillar. We’ll close with a reflection on each action step to help you get clear on what you need to do next.
